You are invited to the launch of National Year of Reading 2012 - A slice of local history.

Local authors Ann and Alexander Sloane will talk about their books:

'This is Indeed a Strange Country', 'Heritage Farming in Australia' and 'To fly like an eagle'.

The books based on family documents present an opportunity to visualise rural life of women in the 1890's, agricultural history and pioneer aviation with a particular local interest.
