Parks and Gardens

There are many public facilities and parks located throughout the Corowa Shire. The parks, gardens and facilities are proudly erected and maintained with the support of community groups, service organisations and Council.

Amenities are free for visitors, travellers and local residents to utilise for a wide range of recreational activities including: swimming, fishing, boating and camping. Many sites have facilities such as BBQs, picnic and play equipment as well as boat ramps.

In early 2011, Corowa Shire Council engaged Hands on Community Solutions to develop a recreation Master Plan for Lowe Square in Howlong. This plan will guide the future development of Lowe Square and was adopted by Council at its Ordinary Meeting on June 21, 2011.
